At the Republican debate candidate Rick Perry made a very strange analogy in the Iowa debate comparing his campaign to our beloved Tebow.

I doubt the Iowans who caucus are following football all that closely but I suppose Tebow mania is hard to miss. He was, afterall, the topic of the New York Times op ed The Gospel of Optimism over the weekend.

For the record, Tim has no comment.
